Sober Network Inc. Announces Peer Recovery Supports of Idaho, LLC to Implement its SoberSystems Addiction Recovery Management Mobile App
Delray Beach, FL (PRWEB) November 28, 2016 -- Sober Network Inc.(SNI), the premier provider of innovative digital solutions and award-winning mobile apps for the addiction and recovery industry, announced today that they have entered into an agreement with Peer Recovery Supports of Idaho, LLC (PRSI) to implement their flagship SoberSystems mobile app. Peer Recovery Supports of Idaho, LLC is a subsidiary of PEER Wellness Center, Inc. PRSI reconnects individuals who have substance abuse and/or co-occurring behavioral health disorders with their family, community and desired life direction in a person-centered recovery approach. Each of these individuals has their own issues or barriers which are creating distance between them and a pro-social life. PRSI supports them by helping them identify and address their areas of deficit. This is accomplished through life skills education, peer and coach supported skill application and transition coaching. PRSI supports best-practices and evidence based recovery support services.
SNI is the parent company of the pioneering FlexDek, a customizable platform designed to accommodate the development of mobile apps for iOS and Android which target an array of medical, behavioral and physical diagnoses. SoberSystems, the flagship app designed for substance abuse along with its free MAT Edition mobile app for medication management, is designed to track and record client input via customizable survey items. It records outcome data for the monitoring agency. The mobile app’s overall goal is to reduce recidivism and provide additional assistance for its users to stay connected and get immediate support from professionals and peers who have agreed to help them along their recovery journey.
“Peer Recovery Supports of Idaho, LLC is excited that FlexDek is customizable and can assist in supporting multiple recovery modalities and life skills,” said PRSI Chief Executive Officer Monica Forbes. “The data collected also will be useful as we continue to improve the recovery services offered. We’re pleased to be piloting this program and optimistic about the practical applications of FlexDek in a variety of settings. We evaluated a variety of apps before selecting the FlexDek platform and SoberSystems app. While there are several apps on the market that count the number of days in recovery/sobriety or connect individuals in recovery to peers in their community, we realized the importance of linking individuals to their formal support system as well,” concluded Forbes.
