NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Leading fintech company Advance Financial's charitable arm, the Advance Financial Foundation, presented a $100,000 check to East End Preparatory School today at a check presentation held at the charter school in East Nashville. The donation will be paid to the school over the next three years.

East End Prep was established in 2011 and is a free, public charter school that serves 900 children in grades kindergarten through seventh. The school believes success isn't only defined by academics, but by holistic child development. The curriculum includes academics, character and virtues, the arts and sports to prepare children for college and beyond.
In 2016-2017, the school was recognized as a double reward school by the Tennessee Department of Education, scoring in the top five percent for both achievement and growth on the 2016-17 TNReady Assessment. East End Prep students scored 16 to 42 percent better than the Metro Nashville Public School (MNPS) average on the assessment. East End Prep was the only open enrollment MNPS school to achieve this double honor.
