Male and female employees who have been employed by Advance Financial for at least 12 months and have worked at least 1,250 hours are eligible to receive up to six consecutive weeks of paid parental leave for either the birth, placement or adoption of a child.

In the US, only 17 percent of employees had access to paid parental leave in 2018, while 89 percent had the option for unpaid leave only, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The company launched the policy on January 1, 2019, and 12 employees are already taking advantage of the benefit, while 7 more are expecting soon.
