Advanced Clinical Creates Program to Develop New Clinical Research Professionals

In 2013, CNN Money reported that Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) ranked number nine out of 100 “Best Jobs in America”. While the demand for exceptional Clinical Research Associates remains high, there continues to be a shortage of quality candidates who are able to fill the open and progressing positions in the industry. Advanced Clinical University was created to respond to the need to hire and develop high-quality CRAs with key skills sets in Risk-Based Monitoring and complex trials such as in the areas of oncology, CNS, and rare diseases. Advanced Clinical University will attract talented graduates with life science degrees and provide extensive theoretical and hands-on training in the evolving role of a Clinical Research Associate.
Leading Advanced Clinical University, Melissa Mauriber brings over 21 years of clinical research and clinical monitoring experience to Advanced Clinical inclusive of risk-based monitoring expertise. Ms. Mauriber is a tenured leader and is responsible for the development, strategy, and delivery of Advanced Clinical University. Prior to joining Advanced, Melissa was the Executive Director, Clinical Monitoring at a global top 5 CRO where she was responsible for North American clinical monitoring operations.
