PEORIA, Ill., Aug. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Peoria, IL based Advanced Medical Transport, Inc (AMT) today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Medics First of Springfield, IL. Founded in 2008, Medics First provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance service in Springfield. The company currently has a fleet of 11 ambulances and a team of over 40 full-time EMS professionals. With this purchase, Medics First becomes Springfield's first and only not-for-profit provider of emergency and non-emergency prehospital healthcare.
