AdvanTec Marine Acquires USA Sliding Doors, Inc., Expanding Its Marine Solutions Offerings

ROBERTSDALE, Ala., May 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- USA Manufacturing has announced the acquisition of USA Sliding Doors, Inc., making it the fifth brand underneath its corporate marine umbrella. These brands include Diamond Sea Glaze, Pacific Coast Marine, Freeman Marine and Steelhead Marine. The acquisition achieves AdvanTec's scope to be a full-scale marine solutions provider to clients worldwide by offering high-quality marine products made in Canada and the United States.

Robert Weiland and William Best, founders of USA Sliding Doors, originally started the Company on January 22, 2001. USA Sliding Doors has served the Maritime and Civil Industry supplying doors for the US Navy, Foreign Militaries and multiple Commercial and Civil applications. USA Sliding Doors is known for its Class II and Class III Vertical and Horizontal Watertight doors that are custom designed to fit the needs of the conveyor and vessel manufacturer. The Company is a US Certified Vendor under Cage Code N. 1TML7, which allows for it to supply the US Navy with doors found on the T-AKE, MLP/ESB, T-AGM and T-AO vessels.
