AE2S Names New CEO; Grant Meyer to Take Helm of Engineering Consulting Firm
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (PRWEB) January 10, 2019 -- AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.) has announced its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Grant Meyer has worked for AE2S for over 20 years and is credited with strategic initiatives and growth in his time as Business Development Director and Chief Development Officer, as well as bringing the environmental engineering consulting firm into the Twin Cities and Minnesota market by establishing an office in Maple Grove, Minn.
“We are excited to have Grant take over leadership as we head into 2019,” says Brett Jochim, AE2S Chief Operations Officer and Interim CEO. “We have had a lot of exciting growth over the past few years, including the transition at the beginning of 2018 to an employee-owned business model, or ESOP. The employee-owners at AE2S are eager to begin this new chapter of the firm’s history with Grant at the helm.”
“This is a very exciting time to work for AE2S, as we continue to add staff and grow into new geographies. In fact, this year we will open offices in Keystone, Colorado, and Billings, Montana. As our company growth continues, so does the success of our employee-owners. We are committed to maintaining the highest level of service to our fantastic clients throughout the region and we look forward to continuing to expand our services and geography. I am honored to serve our clients and employee-owners as AE2S’ new CEO,” says Meyer.
Meyer began his career as an intern in the Grand Forks, N.D. AE2S office while attending the University of North Dakota. While at UND, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering with Environmental Emphasis. Over the years he was promoted to Operations Manager and Regional Client Program Leader. Meyer most recently served as the firm’s Chief Development Officer. He led the growth of office operations as well as all the firm’s Practice Leaders over the course of the last 10 years.
Meyer's experience includes a variety of water and wastewater system infrastructure planning, design, and construction projects. He has seen numerous projects from master planning through design and construction for systems serving hundreds of thousands of people in the Upper Midwest.
“Grant’s outstanding communication skills are matched by his extensive engineering experience and financial acumen. The skills coupled with his leadership style and positive attitude will ensure the success of our employees and, ultimately, our client’s success,” says Jochim.
