AESC Honors Juerg Herbert Baertschi of Russell Reynolds Associates for Excellence in the Executive Search Profession

NEW YORK, Nov. 23, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) presented Juerg Herbert Baertschi with the AESC Award of Excellence at a virtual ceremony today that brought together colleagues and peers in the industry from across the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

Bestowed since 1982, AESC awards recognize individuals within the executive search profession for their personal achievements and contribution to their firms, the profession at large, and the communities in which they serve. As Head of Research and Operations, Asia Pacific at Russell Reynolds Associates, Juerg leads the research team across China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney, New Delhi and Mumbai. He leads initiatives for Quality Assurance, client excellence delivery, Next Generation Workplace—a global efficiency program that re-engineers the work processes and the role definition with a number of service centres opened in India and across APAC to serve the firm globally. In addition, he has been instrumental in the development of a Global Quality Assurance program for the search business in APAC, North America, South America and EMEA, incorporating data monitoring, process clarification, awareness discussion and quality training for all regions. Juerg also co-led the build strategy of the firm's centres of Excellence in Dallas, Barcelona and Gurgaon.

With a career spanning two decades in executive search, Juerg is recognized by peers for the role he has played in the development of the profession across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. His important role in the hiring, development, and mentoring of researchers and associates in the industry has led to an infusion of talent for the profession at large, helping to diversify talent within the firms of which he has worked. He has provided next-generation talent in the profession with the resources they need to succeed, as well as a space where they are heard, mentored, and listened to. Prior to his current role at Russell Reynolds Associates, Juerg held positions including: Vice President Operations and Human Resources Business Partner Europe, Middle East and Africa at Korn Ferry; Head of Operations, Switzerland at Egon Zehnder; and Head of Internal Services at Ray & Berndtson. Juerg holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the HWZ Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration.
