Annual grant gives back to law enforcement and first responders by providing training, equipment, and funding to K9 units.
AURORA, Ill., Oct. 27, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- For over 10 years, the Aftermath K9 Grant has given back to police departments and first responder units across the country by awarding grants that are used to offset the costs associated with creating, running, and maintaining a K9 unit.
We are excited to announce that the 2022 Aftermath K9 Grant will begin on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Nominations for the competition will run from October 11-18 and are open to any law enforcement or first responder agency (police, fire/EMS, coroner, etc.) in the United States.
Starting on October 24, 2022, communities across the country will vote to determine who receives grants totaling $15,000. Votes can be cast once per day online at aftermath.com/k9grant and on social media platforms (Instagram-@aftermathk9grant, Facebook-@aftermathcares).
The grant competition's schedule is as follows:
- Nomination Period: October 11-18
- Voting Period: October 24-31
- November 3: Winners Announced
