Aga Marvel First Undercounter Refrigeration Manufacturer to Announce Plans to Address Industry-wide Energy Compliance Change
Greenville, Michigan (PRWEB) July 23, 2014 -- Effective September 15th, 2014, all refrigeration products will be required to meet higher energy standards. Aga Marvel is the first manufacturer of undercounter refrigeration to declare plans to address the changing demands with a complete product line of ENERGY STAR compliant undercounter products, including beverage centers, all refrigerators, refrigerator/freezers, refrigerated drawers and keg dispensers. The company also used this innovation as a springboard to develop the industry’s most efficient wine cellar line, despite its current exception in the DOE requirements.
“We have invested in the re-design of our entire household undercounter refrigeration product line to provide the consumer the most value in the industry,” says Aga Marvel Engineering Director Jim Holland. “All products are ENERGY STAR® rated based on the new 2014 DOE energy standard, offering the consumer the lowest operating cost products available. Furthermore, we’ve addressed the features consumers want most, based on market research. The new models include a new state-of-the-art electronic control, upgraded feature content, expanded model configurations, and support for fully integrated built-in installations, assuring that there is a product available for all applications that will exceed customer expectations.”
Already known for its quality craftsmanship throughout the industry, Marvel products are engineered, hand-built, tested and inspected against strict quality standards in the Aga Marvel facility based in Greenville, Michigan. And the new Marvel undercounter refrigeration line is something the company can be proud of—each product is tested and proved to exceed the more demanding energy requirements. The products’ Dynamic Cooling system will provide the most even temperature stability on the market. And, the manufacturer added new hallmark features to offer greater storage configurations, quieter operation, smart temperature controls, chic style options and a fully integrated seamless fit.
Product Manager Joe Parzych adds, “In addition to features and design, customers are increasingly adding energy-efficient performance as a requirement in their product selection. The new Marvel, Marvel Professional and Marvel Outdoor products have been specifically designed to incorporate all of these considerations in order to keep Marvel products as a top choice in undercounter refrigeration.”
Kent Coon, Manufacturing Director, is pleased with company’s plan to transition to the new products. “Not only have we designed a more energy-efficient product, we have used this opportunity to incorporate designs to reduce our manufacturing assembly times.”
The products are slated for launch this fall.
