AGBT Offering 10 Full-Ride Scholarships & Discounted Registration Rates for 2022 AGBT Agriculture Event

ST. LOUIS, Dec. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The organizing committee for AGBT Agriculture (AGBT Ag) is offering 10 full-ride scholarships and multiple discounted registration rates for their premier agricultural science meeting next year.

The organization is offering two types of financial awards for selected conference attendees. Ten full-ride scholarships will be awarded to scientists who have submitted abstracts and had their work accepted for presentation at the event in 2022. The organization will also offer discounted registration rates to a larger number of abstract submitters and their scientific colleagues, bringing the total event cost down to $850 per person which includes conference fees, 4 nights lodging, scientific sessions, meals, and all networking events.

"The full-ride awards will enable us to highlight outstanding research contributions based on an evaluation of abstracts submitted by students, post-doctorates, and early career faculty. We hope to open doors for people who might not otherwise be able to attend the AGBT Ag conference. These awards will shine a light on the achievements of young researchers from diverse disciplinary and personal backgrounds."

AGBT Ag aims to highlight emerging voices in agricultural science by offering these 10 full-ride scholarships to graduate students, post-doctorates, and early career scientists. The scholarships will cover the price of conference attendance plus travel expenses, including hotel accommodations and flights.
