AGT Names Metro-Atlanta Office Headquarters
Kennesaw, Ga. Founded in 1993 by two Georgia Tech Research Institute engineers, AGT was originally headquartered in metro-Atlanta before opening a second office in Rockledge, Fla. and subsequently naming it headquarters in 1996. Today’s announcement follows several notable milestones for AGT in 2013, including a new CEO appointment, a refined brand and partner strategy, significant technology advances and the company’s 20th year in business.
AGT was founded by Ben Atha and Mike Valletutti while working together as research engineers at Georgia Tech Research Institute and was established as a Georgia Tech Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) company. During the company’s first five years, AGT specialized in the design and integration of complex video networks. Over the next decade, the company developed several successful products for Network Aware Scheduling and IP video testing, while also serving as one of Polycom’s top video equipment resellers. AGT continued its success by pioneering managed services for video conferencing and developing cloud-based video solutions that connect mobile devices, desktops and web browsers with high definition conference rooms.

AGT’s new headquarters resides in its Chastain Center office and data center in Kennesaw.
