AHA DataViewer Updated with New Hospital Data
CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) June 15, 2015 -- Health Forum, a strategic business enterprise of the American Hospital Association, has released an update to AHA DataViewer, a web-based source of national hospital and system data. The release includes an updated IT Database module, an Electronic Health Records report, and a refresh to the current year hospital data.
Specific updates include:
- An IT Database update featuring 197 unique data fields, including 71 new fields
- A new featured free report: Electronic Health Records
- Refreshed hospital data, including the hospital's address, control and primary service type, and C-Suite contacts
- The Hospital Universe Change Report (for DataViewer subscribers only)
In addition to demographic and C-Suite changes, facilities and services; beds; utilization; and physician arrangements are updated for 691 hospitals. The updated information is based on proprietary AHA membership and national survey data from sources including the AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals, and the AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals—IT Supplement.
