AIM Solder, a leading global manufacturer of solder assembly materials for the electronics industry, is pleased to announce that Manuel Mungia will present at the upcoming SMTA Chihuahua Expo and Tech Forum taking place on May 8, 2019 at Salón Villarreal in Chihuahua, Mexico. Manuel’s presentation, “Pin in Paste,” will be presented at 15:00.
The presentation addresses Pin in Paste (PiP) technology where through hole components are soldered in the SMT process. The PiP process offers several advantages compared to the traditional wave/selective soldering process. The main advantage is the elimination of the wave/selective process and associated capital, handling and processing costs.
