Mr. Chase returns to AireSpring in the role of Senior VP of Solutions Engineering. In this new role, Mike will leverage his more than 25 years of experience designing complex datacenters and wide area networks to lead AireSpring’s Solutions Engineering team which serves as a full-service network engineering resource to our channel partners and their enterprise clients. The team is trained to engage in discussions with our partners and their clients to identify and recommend the appropriate technologies needed to optimize their networks, and at no additional cost, propose and design the best solutions utilizing the latest technologies such as SD-WAN, direct multi-cloud connectivity, and WAN optimization. Mike and his team have already made a difference for our channel partners enabling many to close a larger percentage of deals as well as large, complex enterprise opportunities that have driven tremendous sales revenue and growth for our partners.
Mike and the team also provide AireSpring partners with training on new technologies and work with product management and core engineering to develop, test and optimize new solutions. He has played a key role in AireSpring’s SD-WAN vendor analysis and implementation. Known to many in the industry as Dr. Cloud, Mike is a regular contributor to hi-tech publications, frequently writing and disseminating technical articles to the industry and supporting AireSpring’s educational and marketing efforts.
A cloud communications entrepreneur and telecom industry veteran with decades of experience, both as an engineer and executive, Mr. Chase holds the prestigious Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE #7226) certification, as well as a Juris Doctor (JD) Degree and more than 20 industry certifications, including, Linux LPIC2, VMware Certified Professional 3/4/5 and many more. He co-founded and was former CTO of several cloud ventures, including dinCloud, one of the first Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to offer hosted virtual desktops worldwide (rated #1 by Network World Magazine in their DaaS shootout article of May 2012, Top 100 of Talkin’ Cloud rankings). His experience extends to a vast portfolio of other telecom/VoIP, networking, datacenter and cloud services. Mike also has more than 25 years of experience designing complex datacenters worldwide during his work with such firms as Wells Fargo Bank, IBM, Mobil Oil Corporation, Union Oil, LA Cellular, AT&T, Broadcom, tamCloud, dinCloud and others.
