Global Brand Exec Richard Black joins Aki Technologies as Chief Marketing Officer

Aki Technologies, the moment marketing science company that helps brands personalize advertising through the power of mobile moments, today announced that Richard Black has joined the team in the newly-created role of Chief Marketing Officer. Black most recently served as VP Marketing for the Campari Group, the 6th ranked global spirits company with more than 50 premium brands sold across 190 countries, where, during a 12-year career, he held roles on three continents in sales & marketing. In his new role, Black will be responsible for driving greater visibility and demand for Aki Technologies’ AI-powered moment marketing solution.

Black will be building an experienced team of marketers and creatives to drive the most effective mobile advertising for our customers. The team will be built around existing Aki marketing team members and new hires, bringing a wealth of experience and talent to the fore.

Black joins Aki during a time of extraordinary growth. The company, which uses artificial intelligence to predict when and how a mobile consumer is most likely to respond to a marketing message, hired a CRO earlier this year and is on track to double revenue from 2017 to 2018. Aki also opened offices in Detroit, Boston and Bentonville this year.
