In 2014, Alabama author Kevin Cain published his book "My Haunted Collection" which told the stories of some of the haunted dolls and items in his personal paranormal collection which he started in 2013. Now, he has published a new volume of stories in a sequel titled "My Haunted Collection: The Dark Side." In this new book, the author shares the stories of some of the items in his collection that possess a much darker history. The items talked about in the book range from a haunted doll pulled from the ruins of a murder house to a doll possessed by a demonic entity, and from a mask used in shapeshifter rituals to a jack-in-the-box clown that loves to scratch. These true, chilling stories are sure to pierce the reader to the very marrow!
The world of ghosts comes as nothing new to Alabama native Kevin Cain, an author, paranormal investigator and haunted collector who spent his childhood in a haunted house and grew up on a love for the subject. A member of the paranormal team S.C.A.R.e. (Spirit Communications and Research) of Alabama, Cain is a seasoned investigator, having investigated haunted homes and locations since 2003. In 2013, he began writing and publishing books based on his real-life spooky encounters. It was also that year when he began collecting haunted items such as dolls, tools, paintings, jewelry and other such paraphernalia.
