Aleratec Announces 1:31 USB HDD Copy Tower SA™ with Sanitization

The 1:31 USB HDD Copy Tower SA™ is an industrial strength duplicator that operates without the need of a computer, and streamlines the cloning of multiple USB storage devices. IT professionals can quickly copy up to 31 USB flash drives, external 2.5-inch hard drives or SSD drives with functions that include copy or compare, copy system and data only, copy complete drive, and format FAT and FAT 32 file systems.

The sanitization function removes all traces of information from 2.5” external hard drives and users can choose from 1-Pass, 3-Pass or DoD 7-Pass Overwrite functions. Hard drives sanitized by Aleratec’s 7-Pass wipe have been verified by a leader in forensic data recovery as being “forensically unrecoverable” and meeting the criteria set forth in NIST 800-88 guidelines for media sanitization.
