AlertSystems Respond to the News That Holbeach Have Agreed to Upgrade Their CCTV Footage
(PRWEB UK) 21 December 2013 -- According to an article in Spalding Today, published on the 16th of December, 2013, traders and councillors are backing a Parish Council decision to improve CCTV services within the Holbeach district. The system that has already been installed in Boston by South Holland District Council for just under £5,700 has allegedly convinced the parish councillors of Holbeach to opt into the CCTV improvements.
The system is said to be put into place as of April 2014 as a deterrent to crime. Originally the councillors temporarily vetoed the move for improved CCTV security systems, they have allegedly decided that Holbeach, businesses and the public will benefit from the improved systems.
South Holland District Council established that rolling out a countywide CCTV operation would have cost too much money, but the parish council has since decided that they can operate in collaboration with local businesses.
A correspondent from business security industry leaders, AlertSystems, responded by saying ‘We’re happy to see that more councils are choosing to upgrade their CCTV security systems in an attempt to reduce crime in the area. Upgrading to HD CCTV can help bring extra information and clarity to a case.
‘With any luck the councils additional CCTV improvements will supplement the CCTV that businesses have installed, or vice versa. Between the council and high street properties, the community can come together to offer a safer and secure community.
