BOSTON (PRWEB) June 10, 2020
Rand Labs Inc. today announced the release of the new version of their Algorand explorer, AlgoExplorer 2.0, with a completely revamped, brand new design using more advanced technology to power the blockchain explorer. In this same release, Rand Labs is launching its new Algorand Developer API which is open and free to use by everyone in the Algorand community.
This new version of the AlgoExplorer brings to the industry one of the most advanced explorers of the entire blockchain space. With an elegant and modern design, this AlgoExplorer provides a superior user experience to the Algorand community. Among the highlighted features of this Algorand explorer are:
- AlgoExplorer Developer API: The Developer API of the new AlgoExplorer will enable developers to access a rich API that supports all the features of the Algorand Node API as well as additional features only offered through the AlgoExplorer. This Developer API for the Algorand ecosystem allows developers to build and deploy projects without the need to run any infrastructure at all. This AlgoExplorer API is free to use by everyone.
- Dark Mode Version: The AlgoExplorer now offers a Dark Mode for those who like to use the explorer at night or in the dark. The AlgoExplorer was created with the mindset of supporting all users, from beginners to developers and experienced users. It supports all types of devices including desktops, smartphones, and tablets.
- Algorand Rewards Calculator: The new version comes with new tools, such as the Algorand Participation Rewards Calculator. The Rewards Calculator is a tool that allows Algorand users to know how many participating rewards they will receive by staking or holding their Algos in a wallet. It provides a way for users to know how many Algos will their holdings generate every week, month, and year. The calculator uses the most up to date information released by the Algorand Foundation related to the rate of rewards allocated at any given time.
“At Rand Labs we have been fully committed to building the infrastructure tools needed to bring mass adoption to Algorand. The release of this advanced AlgoExplorer gets us closer towards that goal” said Michel Dahdah, Co-Founder of Rand Labs. “This is only the beginning of many releases to come this year that will help create a solid infrastructure for the ecosystem”
“Transparency of the status and performance of the Algorand blockchain is a critical tool for the wider ecosystem and the AlgoExplorer 2.0 provides an excellent window into what is happening on chain” said Fangfang Chen, COO, Algorand Foundation. “The addition of the AlgoExplorer Developer API to AlgoExplorer is a wonderful infrastructure enhancement that will make developing on the Algorand blockchain even easier”.
