A new online program provides community training in recognizing and reporting human trafficking.

AliveTek, Inc, a leader in eLearning development, and the International Association of Human Trafficking Investigators (IAHTI) have launched an awareness and prevention training course specifically designed to help municipalities, public and private employees, and members of the community recognize the signs of human trafficking that are often hidden in plain sight.

Community Impact
Trafficking can be found in the smallest town to the largest city in the U.S. Each of us may come in contact with or speak with victims of human trafficking during our daily routine without being aware of the warning signs. “Human trafficking, or modern-day slavery, is an issue that will take concerted and coordinated efforts between law enforcement and the community to eradicate,” said Jeremy Lewis, President and Co-Founder of IAHTI. “Without the knowledge and tools to identify these victims, they will continue to be exploited,” he added.

“We’re proud to be partnering with IAHTI because they are the worldwide leader in human trafficking education, with expertise in law enforcement and Human Trafficking investigations,” added Sandy Mills-Alford, President and CEO of AliveTek, Inc. “The online program is designed to empower counties and municipalities to easily educate thousands of constituents without the cost or effort of traditional in-person training. This is especially powerful when cities prepare to host large-scale events.”

Course Availability
The one-hour online training course, IAHTI Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Training™, is now available in both Government and Community editions, making it extremely accessible, so anyone can identify possible victims and report suspected incidents right away.
