This program provides incentives to lawn care providers, public agencies, private entities, such as but not limited to, school districts, businesses or non-profit organizations for the replacement of their existing gas- or diesel-powered landscape maintenance equipment. Participants can receive a discount of up to 70 percent off the commercial electric equipment standard pricing which immediately makes the mowers less expensive than most traditional ICE mowers. With zero emissions, low noise, low maintenance, and zero fuel to purchase, new owners will help save the environment and save up to $30,000 in operating costs over the service life of the mowers compared to traditional gas mowers.
