"We started with focus groups to understand which questions arise, which concerns are roadblocks and how to address these challenges for those looking at senior living," said Sarah Sheridan, vice president of marketing at Allegro. "We learned that seniors and their families either spend a significant amount of time on research and planning or they have to make a decision extremely quickly. We wanted to deliver the right information to them based on where they are in their journey."
With dedicated sections for those just beginning their research, looking for themselves or looking for a family member, Allegro offers resources such as information on the different levels of care available, the differences between CCRC communities versus rental communities, as well as senior living myths and tips for family members after their loved one has moved into a community.
For those that are further along in the planning process, Allegro designed glimpses into the day in the life of residents in each care level. They also expanded on the differences in levels of care and the lifestyle programs available at Allegro. Each community also has a more interactive homepage, with dynamic photo galleries, video tours and more.
"In addition to the enhancements made to the content on our site, we also enriched the visitor journey and now offer downloadable guides, brochures and opportunities to connect with a senior living advisor on every page. It is our goal to help families find the best option for their loved ones and to make accessing the right information or contacting the right person as easy and seamless as possible." said Sheridan.
