Olympia, WA (PRWEB) November 12, 2014 -- Townsend Security, the encryption company, today announced a simplified pricing model for Alliance Key Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS). Complementing the existing Bring Your Own License (BYOL) offering of Alliance Key Manager for AWS, the new, on-demand, pay-as-you-go model lets customers scale quickly to meet their needs, while still offering a predictable cost model. The AWS Marketplace annual subscription option for Alliance Key Manager for AWS allows an additional 10 percent savings when compared to hourly pricing over the same 12-month period.
Deployed as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) from AWS Marketplace, the affordable encryption and key management solution relies on the same FIPS 140-2 compliant technology found in the company’s flagship Alliance Key Manager HSM that is in use by thousands of customers worldwide. With Alliance Key Manager for AWS, enterprises can now easily secure their Web applications and meet compliance requirements in the cloud.
“We are excited to have Townsend Security's Alliance Key Manager available with hourly pricing to customers in AWS Marketplace,” said Terry Hanold, Vice President, AWS Platform and Marketplace, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “The availability of this solution on AWS Marketplace provides customers with a simple and trusted way to quickly leverage Townsend Security offerings on demand.”
“Customers have been asking for flexible pricing options for Alliance Key Manager for AWS and we are pleased to report they are now available,” said Patrick Townsend, CEO of Townsend Security. “In addition to our BYOL option, enterprises can now take advantage of pay-as-you-go and annual licensing options to align their data security budgets with internal and external requirements to protect sensitive data.”
Available at no extra charge, Townsend Security includes ready-to-use security applications (SQL Server, Drupal, more), SDKs, and sample code (Java, C#, Pearl, PHP, more) for developers. Additionally, there are never extra fees for deploying client-side applications. (AWS usage fees apply.)
