Kevin McMinn, an accomplished executive with decades of experience in energy companies, will take on the role of chief operations officer. "Throughout my over 30 years with startups, turnarounds, and mergers across multiple industries, I've always focused on people and culture as the foundation of a healthy organization," he says. "Joining the Ally Energy team, and working with Katie, offers an opportunity to not only leverage my passions but also help empower others on the road to transformation."
Carlos Da Silva will serve as director of culture and sustainable solutions for programming and client projects. Two members of the ALLY team, meanwhile, have been promoted to new roles. Fred Navarre is now vice president of marketing, communications, and client engagement. "It is an honor to be entrusted with such an important leadership role in the company, and I am grateful for the opportunity to take on this new challenge," he says. "I am excited to work closely with the team and our clients to help drive ALLY forward and achieve our ambitious goals." Jo Madriaga, formerly executive assistant to the CEO is now chief of staff.
The new team takes office just days after ALLY Energy was honored as a 2023 Outstanding Diverse Organization by the Houston Business Journal. "We celebrate this with our clients and the many of you who are making the change we need in our workplaces, communities, and in society at large," Mehnert said in a LinkedIn post after accepting the honor at a celebration.
