Prior to joining Alpha Cubed, Shane was most recently an Investment Manager for Whippo Asset Management LLC, where he conducted fundamental and technical analysis with a focus primarily on U.S. equities. Shane had previously served as an Analyst at Research Affiliates, conducting performance analysis for U.S., developed international, and emerging market equities and producing quarterly strategy commentary.
Shane graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor's degree in business administration and is a CFA® charterholder. While studying at UCI, he gained experience as a Cleantech Researcher with Roth Capital Partners, where he was responsible for researching small-cap publicly traded companies, analyzing industry trends, and developing financial models by forecasting company business models and capital needs. Shane also has a strong interest in programming and artificial intelligence, which are skills that he applies to the position to improve results and increase efficiency.
When not working, Shane enjoys spending time with friends, practicing yoga, and following the New Orleans Saints.
