Alta Resources Welcomes New Advisory Board Member
Neenah, Wisconsin (PRWEB) April 27, 2015 -- Alta Resources, a global provider of customer management business process outsourcing (BPO) for Fortune 500 brands, recently announced that Ruthellyn Musil has joined its advisory board. In her role, Musil will use her years of leadership and board experience to offer strategic counsel, as Alta Resources continues to position itself as a global leader and innovator in the industry.
“Alta Resources has achieved great growth, thanks to its employees and their steadfast commitment to serving customers,” said Musil. “Becoming part of an organization so highly regarded by its clients and the communities it serves is an honor. Alta Resources’ Guiding Principles — including Results, Relationships and Integrity — have helped it become a leader in its industry.”
Musil has amassed more than 44 years of experience, a majority of which — 36 years — were spent at the Tribune Media Company in Chicago. During her time there, Musil grew her career from within the organization, beginning as a clerk in 1971 and retiring as the senior vice president of corporate relations in 2007. In the latter role, Musil was responsible for serving as the primary corporate spokesperson, including liaising between corporate management and investors/analysts who covered the company. In addition, she held a number of other positions there, including copywriter, manager of public relations and director of employee communications.
In addition to her career, Musil is actively involved with a number of boards and nonprofit endeavors. Much of her involvement is serving her alma mater, Loyola University Chicago; there, she serves on the board of trustees, the John Felice Rome Center’s advisory board and the School of Communication advisory board. In addition, she sits on the board at the Robert R. McCormick Foundation (Chicago) and the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (Appleton, Wisconsin).
Alta Resources Chairman and CEO Jim Beré said of the addition of Musil, “Ruthellyn’s years of experience serving on various boards will be of increasing importance as Alta Resources continues to grow. Ruthellyn understands the dynamic of how a board should run and has the leadership experience to ensure that we are on the path to success. On behalf of everyone at Alta Resources, we are excited to welcome Ruthellyn.”
A Chicago-area native, Musil splits her residency between Neenah, Wisconsin, and Naples, Florida. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Loyola University Chicago and a master’s from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
