Alterra Home Loans Debuts #ONEMISSION Campaign
The new company-wide initiative declaring a commitment to building wealth through homeownership was announced at the NAHREP National Convention
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Alterra Home Loans announced a new initiative called #OneMission at last week's NAHREP National Convention at L'Attitude in San Diego, CA. The company-wide campaign is a declaration committing to fulfilling the dream of homeownership for families across the country. The Las Vegas-based company pledges to not lose sight of their purpose and points to partnerships with like-minded individuals, real estate agents, and companies to make their vision come to life.
The initiative comes at an important time for families of multicultural backgrounds, especially the Latino community, who have not always been exposed to the best opportunities that set up a path towards homeownership. According to the Institute for Policy Studies, non-Hispanic white households hold 64 times more wealth than Latinos. Alterra understands the need to reach this underserved market and brings solutions to the table in forms of a diverse set of loan products that cater to a variety of families' needs.
Employees and other NAHREP members expressed their enthusiasm for the campaign during the conference with a booth in the Expo hall that was devoted entirely to getting people to pledge to their mission to live with purpose and help families. Attendees would write their name on a card with the pledge and pin it to their wall. Walmer Medina, the company's Creative Marketing Director, explained his vision for the initiative. "We believe in something much bigger than just a transaction. Through this campaign we hope to inspire others in and outside the industry to remember to lead with purpose."
One of Alterra's highest producing loan officers, Sandra Estrella, sat on a panel during NAHREP's mortgage summit, Elevate. She described that she recently joined Alterra because she believes in the mission. "It was difficult to transition to a new company, but I wanted to work for a company that understood why I'm doing this." Alterra was founded precisely with this goal in mind. Founder and CEO, Jason Madiedo, explained, "Our mission is central to everything." He continued, "We've created a culture that caters to the unique needs of our community, and helps families build wealth through homeownership."
#OneMission is the type of initiative that inspires not only its employees but the surrounding Latino community, making the convention the perfect venue for the announcement. The National Convention is NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) premiere annual event bringing together the top producing real estate industry professionals and executives for educational panels, networking opportunities and lively entertainment. Over 10,000 professionals gather from a variety of industries over the course of 4 days to explore and discuss the synergies that bridge together real estate, technology, education and the arts.
