Marshall, who is based in Chicago, advises the firm's Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) sector and private equity clients on a range of business strategy issues.
Marshall's client work focuses on technology services, mobile and tech distribution and sales channel growth, reverse supply chain services, product protection and support services, and bundling product and service into subscription growth offerings. Recent work includes advising technology distributors and value-added resellers on transforming transactional product sales into "as-a-Service" subscription offerings. Marshall also helps clients achieve cost and process optimization through automation and digital transformation.

Marshall has spent more than 20 years in the TMT space, most recently as founder and director of Bartlynn Enterprises, where he worked with private equity firms and multinational enterprise companies focusing on product and channel strategies, Device-as-a-Service (DaaS), and the Internet of Things (IoT). He also held executive management roles at IBM and Brightstar Corporation, a global provider of wireless services. Early in his career, Marshall worked as a consultant at Deloitte Consulting.
Marshall earned an M.B.A from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from University of Chicago.
