AltMed Florida Dispensary Design

Our dispensaries set the standard for quality products, service and overall patient experience at our current Florida locations and we’re excited to offer our premium MÜV medical cannabis brand to the greater Orlando area.

AltMed Florida has announced its first Orlando area MÜV™ Medical Cannabis Dispensary will open at 1090 S SR 434, Longwood, FL (1.5 miles east of Interstate 4 at exit 94) at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, pending final approvals.

Just north of Orlando, it’s in an ideal location to serve the growing communities of Winter Park, Apopka, Sanford and many others along the busy I-4 corridor.

This is only the second dispensary in Longwood and the first to feature a drive-through pick-up window, staying true to its roots as a former Taco Bell restaurant. MÜV boasts an extensive breadth of award-winning product offerings including flower, pre-rolls and the widest range of concentrates in the state.

Doors are scheduled to open for the first time at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24 for licensed Florida medical cannabis patients, who will receive 25% off their entire first purchase. The first 100 patients will also receive a MÜV SWAG bag with their purchase. Patients can order online at for Express Pickup or Delivery beginning Tuesday, May 28.

Like AltMed Florida’s four current MÜV Dispensary locations (Tampa, Sarasota, Wellington/West Palm and Apollo Beach), the new Longwood dispensary is different than others because it’s designed as a premium experience. Think Apple store, with modern, open-concept design and expert staff with extensive training. Patients can also see real-time, strain specific inventory at where they can order for express pickup or delivery within a 25-mile range.

“Our dispensaries set the standard for quality products, service and overall patient experience at our current Florida locations and we’re excited to offer our premium MÜV medical cannabis brand to the greater Orlando area,” said AltMed Florida CEO John Tipton. “Our dispensaries are unlike anything in the state and we invite all licensed patients from Orlando to Sanford to Apopka and beyond to visit our state-of-the-art Longwood location.”

The MÜV brand already has a wide following in other legal medical cannabis markets, including Arizona, where it has won five Best of Arizona medical cannabis awards.

MÜV products offer an extensive variety of delivery options and formulations, including several that are unique among current Florida license holders with its patent-pending transdermal gels and metered dose inhalers. Products come in a variety of delivery methods and formulations within each delivery method to assure every patient has a product to meet their desired outcome. Product categories include flower, pre-rolls, topicals (pain relief cream), 72-hour transdermal patches, metered dose inhalers, distillate vaporizer pens (without any cutting agents), strain specific vaporizer pens and cartridges, oral spray, tinctures, capsules (soon to be released) as well as the widest selection of strain specific concentrates in the state of Florida.

MÜV products are sold exclusively in Florida at MÜV dispensaries because, unlike other states, Florida does not allow wholesale of product between license holders - only products that license holders make themselves can be sold in their dispensaries.

“The MÜV retail experience speaks to the role of medical cannabis products in the modern healthcare marketplace,” said AltMed Marketing Director Todd Beckwith. “We learned that MÜV customers in other legal medical cannabis states are more apt to take an active role in their healthcare than with traditional medicine. They want to understand the products and the research behind the products, so we have created a layered and informative retail experience.”
