Knotwood is produced in Europe using 100% recycled materials, is treated using a volatile organic compound (VOC) powder coating and is designed completely lead-free. The aluminum undergoes a clean sublimation process in which a wood-like film is wrapped around a powder coated aluminum plank. The film is then vacuumed sealed and transported to an oven for a heat and pressure treatment that transfers the wood-like imaging onto the material. The end product replicates the beauty and look of wood.
