Amada Senior Care of Greater Milwaukee Will Address Care Planning at 33rd Annual Wisconsin Parkinson Symposium

MILWAUKEE, July 09, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Amada Senior Care of Greater Milwaukee will provide timely and vital information on Advance Care Planning at the 33rd Annual Parkinson Disease Symposium on Friday, July 26, 2019, at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee. Amada Senior Care of Greater Milwaukee is a regular sponsor of Symposium host Wisconsin Parkinson Association. As a guest on WTMJ-TV's The Morning Blend, Mr. Salerno has discussed the benefits of caregiving services in supporting positive health outcomes for Parkinson patients.

The morning breakout sessions will follow Dr. Leo's presentation, and attendees will choose from three options:

• Disease Management: "Nutrition & Complementary Medications," presented by Dacy Reimer, APMP-C, Lakeside Neurocare
• Activity: "Music Therapy," presented by Lynnae Sis & Jackie Immekus, VMP Healthcare & Community Living

During lunch, the resource fair will again be open for participants. After lunch, the afternoon breakout sessions will include:

• Caregivers: "Reducing Caregiver Stress," presented by Randall Hammett, DC, Hammett Clinic of Chiropractic
• Disease Management: "Speech & Swallowing," presented by Katie Teijido, CCC-SLP, Aurora Medical Center Summit
• Activity: "Parkinson's Exercise," presented by Chris Potter, DPT, Aurora Medical Center Grafton

The closing session for all attendees will be "Ask the Doctors," presented by Taylor Finseth, MD, Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute & Karen Blindauer, MD, Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin. The Symposium will conclude by 3:30 p.m.
