Amada Senior Care to Appear at Franchise Expo South
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) January 30, 2014 -- The largest franchise event in the southeastern United States is heading to Houston, Texas for the first time this year as the Franchise Expo South gears up for its show starting Thursday, February 6th and running through Saturday the 8th. Laguna Woods, California based franchise Amada Senior Care, having now grown to 16 franchise partners in 10 different states, will be one of the companies represented on the show floor. This marks the FES’s 9th year as an exposition, and Amada Senior Care’s 1st year at the show.
According to Stephen Caldeira, president of the International Franchise Association (the show’s sponsor), long-term business partnerships frequently begin when entrepreneur meets franchisor for the first time on the show floor. He also said that franchising as a business model continues to thrive. “This economic climate continues to be a great option for people to be in business for themselves, but not by themselves when they get support from a franchise,” said Caldeira.
Amada’s Chief Development Officer Marcos Moura echoed Caldeira. “Two of our current franchise partners are people we met at these types of shows,” he said, “their businesses are taking off and they’re doing extremely well. We’re looking forward to what this year will bring.” Marcos said that Amada has more than tripled the number of franchise partners in their system since 2012, and that he and others on the team are thrilled to be a part of what has become a growing, nationally recognized brand.

The show will be held at the Reliant Center at One Reliant Park in Houston, Texas. It runs from 10am to 5pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 10am to 4pm on Saturday. Amada’s exhibit will be in booth 202 on the show floor.
