Each Amaru Lopez watch is unique, making the unboxing a special event between the Amaru Lopez brand and the new timepiece owner. The Amaru Lopez team drew inspiration from the fashion industry and the iconic Italian Riva boats to create and produce two unique watch styles: the Mannequin and the Madera.
The Madera line showcases the beautiful form and elegant structure of classic mahogany Riva boats. Although these iconic boats are no longer made, the craftsmanship and voyager spirit live on through this line of Amaru Lopez watches.The wooden frame, uniquely made from the same mahogany used for the Riva boats, was beautifully refined with care by hand, sanded and then polished. The Madera line includes quartz and automatic movement options, and features a premium Italian leather for the strap and dial.
Inspired by the fashion industry, the Mannequin line was conceptualized with the help of designers and craftsmen with decades of experience. The Mannequin watches feature a pattern that stems from the admiration of eagles; specifically the arrangement of the feathers on their wings. As a thoughtful touch, the automatic style of this line includes an open case back with a cover that can be lifted to show the heart of the watch.
There are various features consistent in both lines: premium Italian leather straps, a quick release pin allowing for straps to be changed easily, 316L stainless steel, 5 ATM (water resistance), and 40mm size faces made with noble, sapphire crystal glass.
