AmCraft Manufacturing Launches a New Food Grade Track System
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (PRWEB) June 07, 2018 -- AmCraft Manufacturing Inc., the manufacturer of industrial curtain walls, recently exhibited at the Food Safety Summit in Rosemont, Illinois where they provided attendees with a sneak preview of Clean Glide, their new food grade tracking system. Designed to meet the ever-growing sanitation demands required of food manufacturing, processing and distribution facilities, Clean Glide is made of stainless steel and FDA approved Delrin® in its entirety. The track system has a cylindrical pipe configuration, which minimizes flat horizontal surfaces for debris to get caught on or sit, thus making it compliant with food safety regulations; much more so than AmCraft’s standard track system.

The specific needs of the food safety industry were carefully considered with the design of the new food grade track system, which can be used with the customer’s existing curtain or in conjunction with an AmCraft industrial food grade curtain wall.
Many of AmCraft’s customers have a need to separate areas for wash down or process division and this product allows the separation curtains to slide and move. The revolutionary design of Clean Glide’s connection points combines the functionality of attaching the track with that of supporting the track from the structure above. In addition, the one-of-a-kind internal connection makes positioning track pieces and connecting them simple and food safe. Said internal connection method also allows the Clean Glide track system to be completely reconfigurable if the facility's needs should change. “Compliance to food safety standards is integral to public safety as well as our customers’ bottom line and we are thrilled to have designed a modular food safe track system that helps to support these efforts,” adds Kristin.
