WASHINGTON, Sept. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The America Fighting Back PAC (AFBPAC), organized by 2012 Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain and Arizona businessman and long-time Republican Floyd Brown, has embarked on an aggressive fundraising campaign in an effort to motivate traditional Republican major donors as well as individual donors that support President Trump's agenda.
The effort—led by Cain—has been met with some early success. The first three meetings with donors have already taken place in Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX; and Washington, D.C. During the invitation-only meetings, donors have been briefed on AFBPAC activity and shown a series of ads, several that are already up and running nationally. The donors have also been briefed on the traditional and social media targeting strategy, in addition to GOTV tactics. Upcoming donor meetings have been scheduled for Las Vegas, NV on October 19th and New York City later in the month.
AFBPAC Chairman Herman Cain stated, "This initiative will assist Republican congressional candidates that are supporting President Trump and our conservative Republican agenda. Our goal is to counter negative messaging from Democrats and the radical Left with the facts and positive messaging. We can't afford to lose ground. President Trump has the country going in the right direction."
AFBPAC Co-Chairman Floyd Brown added, "Our goal for the midterm election is $4 million. We have also structured the PAC so that major gifts can go 100 percent into GOTV and persuasion efforts on social media. I have committed to paying administrative costs until November with my gifts to the PAC. This makes our matching funds twice as powerful. And we need to focus all our resources on social media during this critical final phase."
