American CyberSystems, Inc. CFO Nick Goel Awarded CFO of the Year
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- American CyberSystems, Inc. (ACS Group), a multinational provider of information technology solutions, staffing and workforce management services, announced today that Chief Financial Officer Pankaj “Nick” Goel has been named Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2015 CFO of the Year in the “Large Private Company” category. The Atlanta Business Chronicle, in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth Atlanta, presented Goel with the award on May 28, 2015, at a ceremony held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
Goel has been credited with making numerous contributions to ACS Group over the years, including being recognized as a driving force behind ACS Group’s significant growth and continued success. The company has grown from $7 million in revenue when Goel started in 2005 to over $650 million today.
“Nick has played a significant role in the growth of the company, including helping lead our acquisition strategy. He has helped evaluate targets and arranged the capital necessary to finance seven acquisitions in the past nine years,” said Raj Sardana, CEO of ACS Group. “Nick has also helped drive the integration of those acquisitions and ensure the company achieves its expected outcomes. He is a strong asset to our business and we congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition,” concluded Sardana.
To support the growth of the company, Goel has grown his finance team from two employees to 80 and helped build out a low-cost operations center in India. He has spearheaded many cost-saving initiatives within the organization and continues to look for ways to elevate ACS Group in its key markets and within the staffing industry as a whole.
“When I was a young man from a remote town in India, I never thought that I would be living the American dream,” stated Goal. “I give full credit to our CEO, Raj Sardana, for his exemplary vision and to my team and colleagues who have supported me in accomplishing some very aggressive goals,” said Goal. “This recognition has definitely fueled me to do more-to want to be more,” he added.
Prior to joining ACS Group, Goel has held leadership positions with multiple private and public corporations in the US as well as in India. These companies include Steel Tubes of India, Girnar Fibres, Ltd. and JMP Castings, Ltd. to name a few.
Goel holds various professional licenses, including a CFA Charter from the CFA Institute, a CPA from Colorado State Board of Accountancy and Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
