“This is a big election year, and it is up to citizens like you and me to stand together and stand up for our hardworking men and women in blue.”
ARLINGTON, Va. (PRWEB) April 14, 2020
American Police Officers Alliance, a grassroots political organization committed to supporting police officers within the political process, has just released their 2020 Voter Guide. This is a free resource offered to anyone interested in aligning their vote in support of police officers and other law enforcement officials throughout the United States.
“The goal of the 2020 Voter Guide is to engage the public on issues that affect our police officers,” says their Executive Director Daniel Stuebs. “This is a big election year, and it is up to citizens like you and me to stand together and stand up for our hardworking men and women in blue.”
American Police Officers Alliance is also launching a direct mail initiative to remind their supporters to vote for police officers’ best interests in local and state elections. This initiative is happening in tandem with their voter guide. The organization encourages supporters to pay particular attention to issues like Sanctuary Cities, Police Oversight Boards, and Red Flag legislation at local and state levels.
“Many of us underestimate what our vote can do to either help or harm our law enforcement. Your vote matters, and we hope all of our supporters recognize the important part they play in the democratic process,” Daniel Stuebs said. “Our organization strives to engage voters in these issues, and work together to ensure that police officers are receiving the support, tools, training, and compensation they need and deserve. Much of this happens within the political process and citizens may not even be aware of what is up for vote.”
