Ameritas Signs Agreement with Beazley to Market Beazley’s Gap Medical Insurance Product
LINCOLN, Neb. (PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. announced today its group division now markets a supplemental medical (Gap Medical) insurance product from Beazley U.S. Accident & Health.
The Gap Medical plan reimburses eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses, including deductibles, co-pays and coinsurance. It requires an underlying major medical plan and works most effectively for groups with high-deductible plans.
Karen M. Gustin, LLIF, Ameritas senior vice president - group distribution, said the agreement will allow Ameritas to meet new employer and employee needs in a changing benefits world.

The plans are administered by HealthPlan Services, headquartered in Tampa, Florida.
