AMG Completes Compliance Procedures to Make Live Venues More Accessible
(PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- According to a report on Complete Music Update, the Academy Music Group (AMG) has recently completed the necessary updates to several of its popular live performance venues to become more compliant with accessibility standards. The venues were previously difficult for deaf and disabled event attendees to effectively navigate and have an enjoyable experience.
To rectify this issue AMG, along with disabled person advocate group Attitude Is Everything, retooled to reflect a safer, friendlier environment for these patrons to enjoy their event experience.
When asked about the project AMG COO Graham Walters remarked to CMU, “Ticket sales for disabled patrons to our venues have increased significantly over the last two years. By working with Attitude Is Everything,we have created a realistic action plan to work through each stage of their Charter. A number of our venues were built in the early 1900s, thus we identify solutions for the best practical options that are achievable with each General Manager, taking on board feedback and training from Suzanne Bull and her team at Attitude Is Everything”.
It is the intent of AMG to ensure that all patrons of their venues have a safe and enjoyable experience.
