Jaglom has been elected Chair of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) Business Law Section, effective June 1st. As its Chair, Drew leads one of the largest Sections of NYSBA with approximately 3,500 members, whose focus ranges from securities to distribution and franchising, and from cybersecurity to consumer finance. The Business Law Section is made up of various substantive committees that review market and legal developments in their areas and offer business lawyers information in fields that include bankruptcy; banking; business organizations; franchise, distribution and licensing; derivatives and structured products; securities regulation; insurance; mergers and acquisitions; public utility law; not-for-profit corporations; and technology and venture law. The Section's Legislative Affairs Committee monitors new and pending legislation and often makes new legislative proposals and suggests modification of pending bills. The Business Law Section publishes the NY Business Law Journal which provides practice-oriented insight and guidance relevant to business law practitioners.

With over 40 years of experience under his belt, Drew regularly counsels clients in the distribution and marketing of goods and services. His experience includes establishing and restructuring distribution networks; drafting and negotiating domestic and international distribution and supply contracts; mergers and acquisitions of distribution companies; acquisition and disposition of distribution rights; e-commerce distribution agreements; distributor and supplier relations; and dealer termination litigation. Drew has decades of experience representing clients in the food and beverage industry, including alcoholic beverage and soft drink distribution, computer law, and trade associations and non-profit organizations. He was the principal draftsman of the New Jersey Malt Alcoholic Beverages Practices Act, which was signed into law in 2005. Drew co-chairs Tannenbaum Helpern's Corporate practice and its Franchise Law, Distribution and E-Commerce practice, and leads the Firm's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy practice.
Drew is an active member of NYSBA. He is a member of the NYSBA Executive Committee, has served as Chair of the NYSBA International Section and its International Distribution, Sales and Marketing Committee, and Chair of the NYSBA Section Delegates Caucus. For over 30 years, Drew chaired the annual American Law Institute-American Bar Association Course of Study on Product Distribution and Marketing.
