Andrew Patrick Lannon, Esq., B.C.S. joins Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A. after spending the past decade at the Palm Bay City Attorney’s Office, serving as the City Attorney for the last seven (7) years. Palm Bay is the second largest city in Eastern Central Florida to Orlando, the largest city in Brevard County, the 12th largest city in Florida by land area and the 18th largest city in Florida by population. As a consequence of his experience in Palm Bay, Andrew Lannon is intimately familiar with land use and zoning matters, having personally handled thousands of them while City Attorney.

During his legal career, Andrew Lannon has worked in private practice and in all stages of government: federal, state and local. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA (B.A., Classics, 1996) and the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. (J.D., 2003), Andrew moved to Florida to clerk for 2 years for The Honorable Peggy A. Quince at the Florida Supreme Court. At the end of his clerkship, Andy moved to Orlando to first work for Holland & Knight LLP in their Central Florida Litigation Practice Group, handling commercial litigation and appeals, and then to work for the law firm Stump, Callahan, Dietrich & Spears, P.A., where he won a $10-million intellectual property case in the Middle District of Florida (Orlando Division) involving a prominent, Orlando-based, utility and recreational boat manufacturer.

Andrew practices in the following areas: (1) Appellate Advocacy; (2) Business Litigation; (3) City, County and Local Government Law; (4) Eminent Domain, Inverse Condemnation and the Bert J. Harris, Jr., Private Property Rights Protection Act; (5) Ethics Representation for Elected Officials; and (6) Land Use and Zoning. He will be active in all those practice areas with a particular emphasis on Land Use, Zoning, Local Government Law.
