Andrews Federal Employee Recognized by Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas
Suitland, MD (PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- The Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas (CFC-O) recently awarded Andrews Federal Credit Union employee Charli Steele, Teller, Schinnen Branch, with a Certificate of Achievement. The Certificate of Achievement is signed by the Secretary of Defense in recognition of efforts supporting the campaign. Additionally, the Credit Union was given the Silver Award for their overall support of the campaign.
Ms. Steele served as the CFC-O representative at Andrews Federal, as well as made financial contributions of her own. “I appreciate the recognition. With my dad serving in the Air Force, I have been given so much by the Military and this was my opportunity to give back. That is also why I chose to donate to the USO,” Steele said.
The CFC-O, administered by Global Impact, is one of the most successful charitable workplace giving campaigns in the world. Dedicated uniformed and civilian personnel demonstrate their generosity each and every day with service to our country and by joining together to help people and communities in need through the Department of Defense Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas.
