AUSTIN, Texas, Mar. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Former tennis pro Andy Roddick and model/actress Brooklyn Decker, brand ambassadors for Austin-based cookie delivery staple Tiff's Treats, are hosting a "Sweet Innovation" night in collaboration with Dell Small Business at South by Southwest Saturday, March 9. The event, featuring Nashville band Judah & the Lion, will take place at the Dell Experience Space at 310 E. 3rd Street in Austin.
Tiff's Treats and Dell Small Business are collaborating to celebrate entrepreneurship and technology with live demos of Tiff's Treats' CookieVision augmented reality technology and opportunities to win prizes such as free cookies for a year, a Dell XPS 13 laptop, round-trip Southwest Airlines tickets and much more. Badge holders are invited to attend the party at 8 p.m. and will enjoy a milk and cookie bar, light bites and a full bar.
"Tiff's Treats has always used technology to innovate. It's what sets them apart from the rest," said Roddick. "As investors and partners, we're excited to throw a great party with Tiff's and show SXSW visitors a taste of Austin."
Tiff's Treats founders Tiffany and Leon Chen say the company's use of technology helps enable its rapid growth, accelerated by a $25 million fundraising round in Nov. 2017 that's allowed recent expansion into multiple states.
"Technology is an integral part of our business," said Tiffany. "We've used Dell computers from day one, and it's only fitting to highlight our partnership with the renowned Austin tech company with a party celebrating innovative technology," said Leon.
The event is open to SXSW badge holders. Non-badge-holders may get on the waitlist at sxsw.delltechnologies.com/sweet. Guests are encouraged to download the Tiff's Treats app in advance to reveal their prizes at the event.
