The deal comes shortly after the subscription-based shaving service appeared on ABC's Shark Tank.

Angel Shave Club was one of only 15 teams selected out of a pool of over 2,500 applicants for the Quake Capital Spring 2019 LA Cohort. Tsenkova says that the partnership with Quake Capital was a natural fit, as they are a worldwide leader in terms of supporting female founders and co-founders and ranked #2 globally by Crunchbase as the most active investor in female-led companies.

Quake Capital's investment allows Angel Shave Club to continue to competitively participate in the growing subscription service market. The accelerator program also has the potential to increase the company's revenue by 100-150 percent. In addition to funding, Angel Shave Club will receive access to Quake resources for life, intense hands-on mentorship from Quake mentors for 12 weeks, connections to Quake's expansive network, and an office space for three months.
Angel Shave Club began the accelerator program on March 19.
