In September, Unitek College received nursing-board approval to expand their Bachelor of Science (BSN) program to the Bakersfield community. Now, Unitek is pleased to announce that Dr. Stephanie Robinson, RN, PhD HEA, will serve as the new Associate Dean of Nursing for the BSN program in Bakersfield. Dr. Robinson will lead the faculty team and oversee an advanced simulation center with medical surgical intensive care units, various simulation labs, and patient rooms.
Dr. Robinson brings extraordinary leadership and experience to Unitek College. She previously served as Director of Nursing for Fresno City College, which maintains one of the largest community college nursing programs in the state of California. Currently, Dr. Robinson is the President of the Northern California Chapter of the California Organization of Associate Degree Nursing (COADN). She also serves as an advisory board member for the California Board of Registered Nursing, and acts as Chair of the Health and Human Services Subcommittee with the Fresno Unified School District.
