Been Magazine is stories of people doing what they love in the places that they live. Creative people + places. Artists + designers. Architects. Photographers. Makers. Doers. Wanderers. People who dream big dreams and small dreams. People who love where they are, what they are doing or where they are going.
The magazine is self-funded, and printed in limited quantities for initial distribution via select hotels and retail outlets as well as online subscription. The first issue (Spring/Summer 2019) was released April 2nd, 2019 and has features on creative people and places in New York, London, Zürich, Abu Dhabi, Portland, Oregon, and San Francisco.

A key feature of Been Magazine is it's visual approach to storytelling through photography. It is published in limited quantity print only, and is distributed directly by the publisher.
In the first issue, spring/summer 2019, Been features stories on Chris Stein (Blondie); Courtney Taylor-Taylor (The Dandy Warhols); San Francisco art gallery Spoke-Art; Austin, Texas print-maker, Tim Doyle; Stefan Camenzind, an acclaimed architect in Zürich; The Camden Watch Company in London, and more. It's international focus brings a travel component to the storytelling, and while it is not a travel magazine, it does showcase exciting destinations where its story subjects live and work.
