Antelope Water Management and Probitas Water Solutions Announce Merger Close
Antelope Water Management, LLC ("Antelope") announces the close of its merger between Probitas Water Solutions, LLC ("Probitas") and a wholly owned operating subsidiary. The combined entity will operate as part of Antelope Water Management. The combined business entity is primarily focused on water infrastructure in the Permian and Appalachian Basins and will focus on a combination of greenfield development and distressed asset acquisitions.
AUSTIN, Texas, April 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Antelope Water Management, LLC ("Antelope") announces the close of its merger between Probitas Water Solutions, LLC ("Probitas") and a wholly owned operating subsidiary. The combined entity will operate as part of Antelope Water Management. The combined business entity is primarily focused on water infrastructure in the Permian and Appalachian Basins and will focus on a combination of greenfield development and distressed asset acquisitions.
The principals of Probitas, Tony Gutta, Christopher Stanton, and Ryan Vernon, have worked together since 2013 and have a proven track record as a team starting with Shalewater Solutions, LLC followed by Hillstone Environmental Partners, LLC ("Hillstone"), a Golden Gate Capital portfolio company which was sold to NGL Energy Partners LP (NYSE: NGL).

Tony Gutta was the President of Hillstone where he oversaw Hillstone's midstream saltwater disposal, water recycling, solids handling, and heavy brine operations in the Permian, Marcellus and Utica, prior to co-founding Probitas Water Solutions. During Tony's last two years with Hillstone, he was directly responsible for managing the disposal and recycling of nearly 200 million barrels of water. Prior to Hillstone, Tony was the President of Shalewater Solutions and oversaw operations in the Marcellus and Utica. Tony has significant water treatment experience and is the second named inventor on three US patents.
Chris Stanton was the Permian General Manager for Hillstone, prior to co-founding Probitas. He joins Antelope as Vice President of Oil & Gas. At Hillstone, Chris oversaw all daily operations in the Permian where Hillstone was receiving 400,000 barrels of produced water per day. Prior to Hillstone, Chris was the Director of Residual Waste for Shalewater Solutions where he managed over 60 employees, oversaw multiple water infrastructure facility buildouts, and dealt with numerous government agencies regarding permitting and environmental compliance.
Ryan Vernon served as Accounting Manager at Hillstone, prior to co-founding Probitas. He holds a B.S.B.A with a concentration in Accounting from West Virginia University. He joins Antelope as Vice President of Finance with responsibilities for corporate finance and accounting for water infrastructure operations, and supports valuation, strategy, and business development for Antelope's broader activities.
