Antenna Products Corporation begins deliveries of 24 RTR Towers to DFW Airport

Antenna Products Corp. (APC), the leading supplier of Remote Receive/Transmit (RTR) Towers for airports announces that it has completed fabrication and has begun shipping a substantial number of RTR Towers to the Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW) in support of DFW’s ongoing facilities upgrade.

“This was a fun one,” states Robert Fitzgerald, President of APC, who continues, “We greatly appreciate the faith that DFW put in us to deliver on this significant project. Although APC primarily manufactures antennas, we are seeing very rapid growth in our tower division."

Awarded the contract in late 2020, APC has fabricated sixteen 60 foot towers and eight 40 foot RTR Towers.    APC’s RTR Towers are much larger and robust than the existing towers that are being replaced and are configured with antenna support arms that can accommodate significantly more antennas and equipment. These RTRs have been pre-assembled in APC’s factory to provide for the quickest and easiest installation once on site. Comprised of 20 foot, pre-assembled tower sections, delivery of the shipment will require dozens of truck runs of full sized flatbed trailers.
