Anybill Enhances Security, Migrates Infrastructure to New Data Center
WASHINGTON (PRWEB) May 16, 2018 -- Anybill, a leading provider of tax payment services, has successfully migrated its private infrastructure and servers to a brand-new data center and implemented major system security and performance upgrades. This move represents the completion of a large-scale project for Anybill’s Information Technology (IT) department.
Anybill’s application environment is now hosted on updated hardware at a state of the art data center. The IT department improved the network security posture and upgraded the system databases.
“Our data center move gave us the perfect opportunity to increase our security measures,” said Manny Siddiqui, Chief Technology Officer at Anybill. “Now, we have more depth to our defense and our system benefits from upgraded database software.”
This project involved significant testing and production efforts, all while minimizing system downtime and continuing to support normal client operations.
“Thanks to the diligence of the IT department, the migration and upgrades were completed with minimal disruption to clients, who continue to use Anybill to process hundreds of thousands of payments each month,” said Siddiqui.
These improvements will be reflected in Anybill’s annual SSAE audit and SOC certifications.
